Based on the study report, it has been estimated that the installed capacity of the Malagad Khola Hydropower project is 5.31 MW.

Even though the acute local shedding faced by the Nepalese people and Nepalese Industrial sector cannot be solved with the development of this small 5.31 MW Malagad Khola hydropower project but, it is sure that the local shedding must be minimized with its development. As the adverse effects of percent local shedding is being through as one of the impeding factors on productivity of the industries in Nepal.
Therefore, operation of the industries without interruption of electric power will definitely boost up their productivity and ensure the quality of product.
